Colored Frosted DP-95 Cast Acrylic Sheet

Description

DP-95 colored cell-cast acrylic sheet has a matte finish on both sides. The translucent frosted surface diffuses light and softens the view of objects behind the sheet, and the colors are designed to stay vivid with or without backlighting.

Because both faces are matte, a panel looks the same from either side, which suits room dividers, partitions, cabinet doors, and freestanding displays. The matte surface also helps hide fingerprints and light scratches. The sheet is intended for interior uses such as décor, point-of-purchase displays, partitions, and furniture.

Both sides are protected with removable paper masking to limit handling marks during storage, cutting, and fabrication. Remove the masking before installation or display.

Selection and Fabrication Notes

The frosted finish obscures objects behind the sheet but does not make it opaque. Lighting, distance from the panel, background contrast, and sheet color all affect how much shows through.

Use tooling and methods intended for acrylic, support the sheet during cutting, and avoid heat buildup. Test paints, inks, and adhesives on scrap before final use. Clean with mild soap, water, and a soft, lint-free cloth, and use only acrylic cleaners suitable for matte finishes.
